This Privacy Policy explains how EmpirioLabs.ai LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (“Empirio Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our services, including bots and model hosting made accessible through third-party platforms (such as Poe) and through APIs.
By using our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Empirio Labs AI operates infrastructure to connect users to various AI models (proprietary and open-source). We are an independent provider and are not owned by or operated by any of the model developers whose technology we integrate.
2. What data we handle
When you interact with our bots or APIs, we may process:
Content you send to the model
Prompts, messages, and files you submit.
Technical information
Timestamps, basic usage metrics (e.g., request counts, latency), and non-identifying diagnostic data needed to operate and secure our services.
We do not ask for or require sensitive identifiers (like government IDs or full payment card numbers) in our bots, and we encourage you not to share such information in prompts.
3. How we use your data
We use the data we receive only to:
Route your requests to the appropriate AI model.
Return outputs to you.
Monitor service health, performance, and abuse (e.g., rate-limiting, security).
We do not:
Use your prompts, messages, or file contents to train or fine-tune any models under our control.
Sell your data.
Share your content with other third parties for their own purposes.
Any training or retention that may occur happens only under the separate policies of the third-party model providers whose APIs we call (see Section 4).
4. Third-party model providers and platforms
When you use our bots, some data must be sent to external services so they can generate responses. These may include:
Third-party AI model providers (for example, major LLM or TTS vendors).
Third-party platforms that host or surface our bots (for example, chat platforms where you access an Empirio Labs bot).
Your data sent to those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control how those independent providers store or use data they receive. Where possible, we use configuration options that disable training on your data.
5. Logging and retention
Our goal is to minimize data retention while maintaining reliable service.
Request logs:
We do not keep long-term logs of full prompt or file content for general usage analytics or model training.
Short-term, minimal logging may occur for debugging, abuse prevention, and operational stability (for example, timestamp, error code, and high-level usage metrics).
Generated data and our storage:
Files generated by models that Empirio Labs host are retained in our storage as part of a response from a model (for example, a video generation bot returning a video file) are retained only as long as needed to process the request and for short operational buffering.
As a general rule, we delete such uploaded files from our storage within 24-48 hours of upload.
If we ever need to retain a small subset of data longer for legal, security, or debugging reasons, we will limit access to authorized personnel and remove it as soon as it is no longer necessary.
6. Data sharing
We may share limited information only in these circumstances:
With infrastructure and service providers
Vendors that provide hosting, monitoring, or security services necessary to run our systems.
For legal and safety reasons
If we reasonably believe disclosure is required to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, or security of our users, our systems, or others.
We do not share your prompts or files with third parties for advertising or marketing.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we process against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously work to maintain and improve our security posture.
8. Your choices
Depending on how you access our services (e.g., directly via API vs. via a third-party platform), you may have options to:
Stop using a given bot or integration at any time.
Request that we investigate or delete specific data we control, where technically and legally feasible.
For data held by third-party platforms or model providers, please contact those providers directly.
9. Children
Our services are not directed to children under the age required by local law (for example, 13 or higher, depending on jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
